MC-20
Affordable Jog/Shuttle remote controller for RS-422A serial controlled DVRs, VTRs and other RS-422A record/playback devices using Sony VTR protocol. It is a stand-alone unit which does not require connection to the PC. The jog/shuttle dials and 22 buttons can be programmed via the KeyAssigner software to suit user preferences and assign any of the functions incorporated into the controlled device’s RS-422A protocol. It is ideal for those who need precise tactile remote control of rack-mounted or otherwise less accessible devices. Also see MC-20PRO II if application requires a combined device control with control surface capability. A customized model is also available for OEM and system integrators. or capturing audio and video from multiple sources.

MC-20PRO

Multi-Function Jog/Shuttle Controller is a flexible, integrated control surface solution for controlling media playback or editing with any digital audio/video content on a Mac or PC platform. In addition, its unique editlink™ port provides the ability to optionally connect using FutureVideo external device controllers (purchased separately), a network of up to 16 VCRs, camcorders, audio decks, and selected DVD recorders. The jog/shuttle dials and 22 buttons can be programmed and assigned any of the application’s short-cut keys or macros. Applications for this product include media asset management, video ingest & archiving, video content analysis, digital video editing, digital audio editing, and DVD creation. It is designed for the professional editor who needs the flexibility to change the function assignments of the keys and jog/shuttle to accommodate changes or evolution in application software. A customized model is also available for OEM and system integrators who would like to bundle this product with their own hardware and software.

MC-200NL
is a multi-purpose professional jog and shuttle controller which is designed for both digital and analog audio/video device control. Its heavy duty metal enclosure and machined aluminum dial provide the professional user with the confidence and precision needed for daily use. This controller is compatible with a broad range of devices including VTRs, DVRs, VCRs, ATRs, DTRs, and camcorders. Its auto-sensing circuitry provides support for the following serial protocols: Sony/Panasonic/JVC RS-422A, JVC/Sony RS-232C, Sony/Canon LANC/Control-L, and Panasonic 5 pin. The Media Commander 200NL can also pass along the analog or digital device's status, including time code, to a connected PC through the controller's RS-232C PC serial port connection using the supplied cable. In addition, a keyboard emulation mode is provided as a pass-through which allows using a PS2 compatible keyboard with the unit to generate short-cut key emulation for popular non-linear editing programs or for other custom OEM applications. Unlike any other such controllers, the sensitivity and dynamics of the Jog/Shuttle dial are customizable. Applications for this controller include video editing systems for logging and capture, archiving systems for review, and other device control. Includes setup configuration software, plug-ins for Adobe Premiere 6.x/PRO 1.x and ULead MediaStudio Pro 5.0/6.x device control (Windows 2000/XP), and choice of one (1) VTR Serial Control Cable.
