Privacy Policy

FutureVideo Products, Inc. operates the www.futurevideo.tv, www.futurevideo.com websites, which provide the SERVICE.  This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service, the FutureVideo websites.

General

FutureVideo adheres to industry best-practices and complies with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) to keep your data safe. We collect information about you in order to identify you, to respond to your requests, and to inform you of relevant product news/information. This data will not be shared with any entity other than our contracted Data Processor(s), currently iContact, for marketing communications outreach to you. The only exceptions to this are: a) to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena, or court order; b) to enforce or apply the terms of our service or license agreements; or c) in special cases, such as protecting the rights, property, or safety of FutureVideo Products Inc., our customers, or others. We may also provide personal information to our vendors, suppliers, authorized resellers, and other business, development, and industry entities to enable them to: a) provide us with products and services to better operate and maintain the services; b) assist us in processing your information; or c) provide you with a product or service requested by you.

FutureVideo may use your personal information to: a) inform you of product upgrades and updates and subscription renewals; b) notify you of products/services that we think may be of interest to you; c) offer you discounts or other promotions pertaining to our products; and d) contact you for survey purposes to assess how we can better satisfy your product/application needs, or to understand features/capabilities you may desire in our products.

You are permitted to review, correct, or order the deletion of your data held by FutureVideo. Your request will be acted upon within 30 days of written notification. FutureVideo newsletters and other marketing or engineering communication delivered by FutureVideo’s Data Processor, currently iContact, include “unsubscribe” links at the end of each document. If you choose to opt out of receiving promotional email communications from FutureVideo, we may still periodically communicate with you via mail and telephone.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, and postal address. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you visit our Service, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. European Union residents who submit personal information to FutureVideo acknowledge that this information will be transferred to our servers located in the United States. The European Union has found that the US privacy protection model does not provide “adequate” privacy protections as contemplated by Article 25 of the European Union's Data Directive (Directive 95/46/EC). Article 26 of the European Union's Data Directive allows for transfer of personal data from the European Union to a third country if the individual has unambiguously given his or her consent to the transfer of personal information, regardless of the third country's level of protection. By explicitly accepting this Privacy Policy, you are consenting to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and the processing of that information as described in the FutureVideo Privacy Policy.

California Privacy Rights

FutureVideo provides this Privacy Policy pursuant to privacy laws in California as well as other jurisdictions. If you are a California resident, you may request certain information about third parties to which FutureVideo has disclosed certain categories of personally identifiable information about you for their own direct marketing purposes. You may make one request per calendar year. Children’s Privacy Rights

FutureVideo’s products are designed for commercial users and are not intended to have appeal to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from children under the age of 13 for any purpose. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at “privacy at futurevideo dot com” so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Updating/Correcting Your Information

You can update the personal information/preferences that you have provided to us or request to be removed from our databases by contacting us at email_2@futurevideo.com.

Business Transfer

In the event FutureVideo participates in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar activity, all information and data we have collected from you may be transferred to our successor or assignee, if permitted by and done in accordance with applicable law.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
